Unseasonal rains may ruin mega plans of political campaigns in Gujarat.

Gandhinagar: The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted unseasonal rainfall in parts of Gujarat as a cyclonic circulation lies over the Saurashtra and Kutch area. In its latest bulletin, the IMD has forecasted the possibility of unseasonal rainfall today and tomorrow.

According to the IMD, light rain/thundershowers are very likely in Anand, Dahod, Vadodara, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, Daman-Diu, and Dadara Nagar Haveli until 08:30 am on April 13th


From 8:30 am on April 13th to 8:30 am on April 14th, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, Daman, and Dadara Nagar Haveli may very likely witness light rain/thundershowers at isolated places.

On weather update, Scientist Ramashray Yadav, IMD said, “There is a cyclonic circulation formed above Saurashtra and Kutch, which can cause lightning today and tomorrow in a few districts of Gujarat, the following districts are as- Navsari, Dahod, Surat, Bharuch….Speaking of maximum temperature, there will be a slump of 2-3 degrees Celsius in the coming two days and post that the estimated increase of 2-4 degrees Celsius will be witnessed in maximum temperature…”
