More than 51,000 appointment letters were distributed to newly employed youth in government departments and organizations under the 16th Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Mela.

Both are the only divyang candidates in the group getting their appointment letters in Vadodara.The Rozgar Mela gives equal opportunities to the youth to join various government departments and serve people with dedication.Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched the 16th Rozgar Mela on July 12, 2025, through video conferencing and distributed appointment letters to more than 51,000 newly appointed individuals.
The Prime Minister congratulated the new appointees and motivated them to work for the benefit of the people and to strengthen the economy, which helps in the development of the country.In this sequence, a job fair is being organized in the Railway Auditorium at Pratapnagar in the Western Railway Vadodara Division in the august presence of the Honorable Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Shri C.R. Patil. During this, appointment letters are distributed to about 63 new candidates, of which the maximum number of 51 candidates are from Railways. Apart from this, candidates from the Postal Department and Revenue (CBIC) are also included.For Roshan Kumar, it’s a dream come true. After lots of efforts, he finally got this government job and can now support his mother. “I belong to Bihar, and as a divyang, I faced a lot of hardship from the start and many times avoided going to school and college due to my condition.
I self-studied and completed my Inter in Science and then graduation in Arts. I tried for this job for a long time and finally got my first government job in Railways as a technician posted at Vadodara Division. It’s a dream come true, as the job gives support to my life, and now I can support my mother and family,” said a jubilant Roshan Kumar while shooting the event on his mobile.
Priyanka Kumari from Muzaffarpur in Uttar Pradesh is also posted in Vadodara division as a technician and thanked the Prime Minister for giving her this opportunity. She also completed her graduation in Arts and hails from a family earning their living by working as farm laborers. This government job will improve the situation of her family and also pave the way for her bright future.The Honorable Union Minister of Jal Shakti Shri C.R. Patil also congratulated the new appointees and urged them to work towards the benefit of the people and the development of the country.
At Vadodara, along with the Honorable Union Minister Shri C.R. Patil, MP Hemang Joshi, Anand MP Mitesh Patel, MP, Chhota Udepur MP Jasubhai Rathwa, Mayor Pinky Soni, Divisional Railway Manager Raju Bhadke, VMC Commissioner Mahesh Babu, branch officers, and divisional railway employees were present on this occasion.Rozgar Mela is an initiative toward fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to give top priority to employment generation. Rozgar Mela plays a vital role in empowering the youth and providing meaningful opportunities for their participation in nation building. More than 10 lakh appointment letters have been issued so far through Rozgar Melas across the country.
