The Pandya Bridge will remain closed from June 20 to 30 due to bullet train operations in Vadodara. At present, the civil work of Vadodara railway station of Mumbai-Ahmedabad high speed rail project 5 package is currently going on. In the operation of which, since the operation of pillar loaching is to be done on Pandya Bridge, it will be done tomorrow from 1 to 5 July from 10 pm to 5 am.
While doing this work, there is a possibility of accidents to vehicles traveling over Pandya Bridge. Therefore, the need to close Pandya Bridge for all types of vehicles has arisen due to which this decision has been taken by the officials.
While traffic diversion arrangements have been made, so that the citizens do not face traffic jams during the closure time of pandya bridge.
