Mumbai: The Western Railway has announced a major overnight block on the Vasai Road–Vaitarna stations in Mumbai, scheduled from late Friday night (April 18) to early Saturday morning (April 19). Due to the overnight block, early-morning trains may experience delays.

Central Railway Announces 3-Day Power Block Between Lonavala & Malavali:

The Central Railway has scheduled a special traffic and power block on the Lonavala–Malavali section from Friday, April 18, to Sunday, April 20, 2025. The update was shared by the railway authorities on Thursday. These blocks are necessary for the ongoing work to launch four steel girders as part of the construction of a new Road Over Bridge (ROB) in the area.

Train services on this stretch will be affected during the three-day period. Passengers are advised to plan ahead and consider alternate travel options to avoid inconvenience.
