Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Days ahead of Global Investors Summit (GIS), the state government is going to take fresh loan of Rs 6k crore. It is taking loan for development programmes and implementation of different projects like construction of infrastructure and productive schemes such as agriculture, irrigation and power projects, etc.
To get the loan, the state government obtained the consent of the Central government. During last year, the state government had taken loan on many occasions to meet expenditure.
The opposition has cornered the government on the habit of taking loan frequently. However, the government has claimed that it is taking the loan under the limit set by the Centre. In the situation of March 2024, the state was having a total debt of Rs 375578.52 crore.
Shiv Prakash Takes Feedback On Party Organisation, Govt
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): BJP’s organisational general secretary Shiv Prakash who came to Bhopal after a long time on Saturday took feedback on the government and the organisation. Shiv Prakash met several BJP leaders in the past two days.
He met BJP’s state president VD Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, party’s state in-charge Mahendra Singh, minister Prahlad Patel, former minister Narottam Mishra and other leaders.
According to sources, Shiv Prakash discussed the election of the BJP’s state president, and took feedback on the latest developments in the state.
According to sources in the BJP, the impact of the feedback may be felt on the BJP politics in the coming days. RSS’s Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale has been in the state capital for the past two days. Several politicians met Hosabale, and most of the people who met him are RSS functionaries.
