Ramanbhai Patel College of Pharmacy, a constituent Institute of Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT) in association with Gujarat State Pharmacy Council and NSS Unit, CHARUSAT celebrated “World Pharmacist Day – 2022” at on 27th September, 2022.
Various events were organized as a part of the celebration of the “World Pharmacist Day – 2022” In the morning session, Students and staff volunteers of Ramanbhai Patel College of Pharmacy had visited Changa village, where they conducted various awareness activities for the benefit of the village community. Students and staff volunteers conducted awareness rally at various places of the village and educated people about importance of on nutrition, hygiene and deaddiction.
Student volunteers had performed awareness skit and interacted with village community on the topic alcohol and tobacco deaddiction. Student and staff volunteers had distributed hygiene kits to the village community. Student and staff volunteers had visited a B A Patel high school, Changa and educated the students about the harmful effects of alcohol and tobacco addiction through various interactive fun activities.
In the afternoon session various events were conducted at Ramanbhai Patel College of Pharmacy such as Pharma-hunt, Pharma-dictionary, Pharma-marketing and Pharma-talk. The event was coordinated by NSS unit, RPCP with the active support of students and staff volunteers. Around 100 students and 20 faculty volunteers had participated in the awareness activity and contributed towards the development of healthy community.
