A grand convention was organized for wide publicity of Account Scheme Services provided by Post Office like Sukanya Samriddhi Account, Public Provident fund account, Recurring Account, Time Deposit Account by Superintendent of Post offices, Panchmahal Division, Godhra under the leadership of Post Master General, South Gujarat Region Vadodara at Swaminarayan Hall, Ahmedabad Road, Godhra.
In which all 526 Branch Post Offices of Panchmahal Division were present along with Branch Postmasters and all sub-divisional post office inspectors and made the convention a success. Preeti Agarwal, Post Master General, South Gujarat Region encouraged the children who opened Sukanya Samriddhi accounts by handing over SSA passbooks to them.
Along with this, the passbooks of Public Provident Account opened for minor children were also distributed. Under the direction of Postmaster General, Vadodara, a convention was held in Panchmahal division and as part of the convention, 526 branch post offices and 4 head and sub offices of Panchmahal division collected about 19,000 account forms of various categories in 10 days .
The process of opening these accounts is currently underway which will be completed by 30.08.2022. The branch postmasters who performed excellently in different categories during the year 2021-22 were honoured with awards and letters of appreciation. Preeti Agarwal congratulated every staff for their good work and also gave guidance on how to reach the various schemes of the post office to the every citizen in the far end of the village. Hon’ble madam instilled new vigor and passion in motivating every staff to perform better.
