Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A horrifying incident was reported from the state capital Bhopal, where a father allegedly attacked his 6-year-old daughter with a knife and chopped off her three fingers on the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Kamal Raikwar (28), resident of Kenchi Chola. He was an electrician by profession.
He came home drunk and attacked his daughter with a knife. In an effort to shield herself she put her hand forward, after which her fingers got cut off. She also sustained severe injuries on her head.
when her uncle intervened, the accused also stabbed and injured him. He then reported the matter to police who arrested him immediately.
After 12 hours, he got bail and came home. However, he died at his house, just half-an-hour later.

What was the matter?
According to information, Kamal attacked his daughter on the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday with a knife Chhola Mandir area. Notably, he attacked the daughter in an inebriated state.
The girl put her hand forward to protect herself. Angry, Kamal cut off 3 of her fingers and also stabbed her on her head and neck. She screamed out of pain. Reportedly, Kamal used to drink alcohol on regular basis.
After hearing her voice, his elder brother Mukesh intervened and tried to stop him but Kamal also stabbed him on his head. Meanwhile, the family informed the police and police reached the spot.
The police took the accused into custody and brought him to the police station on the complaint of his younger brother Sonu. He was released after being kept in custody for 12 hours and he died as soon as he returned house.
The police then sent the body for post-mortem, which stated that he died due to liver failure.
Notably, Kamal’s wife had committed suicide 5 years ago.
