Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is a pan India celebration of the 75 years of India’s Independence and glorious history of our people, culture and achievements. Various commemorative events are being undertaken by Indian Army towards the same besides active participation in the celebrations.
Team EME School conducted Walkathon, Run and Cyclothon event ‘AZADI MARCH’ on 15 Aug 2022 with a strength of 300 Army personnel including ladies and children of EME School. The event was flagged off from the iconic Laxmi Vilas Palace, Vadodara by Major General Bikramdeep Singh, VSM, Commandant, EME School and culminated at Eugene Stadium, EME School over a distance of approx 6 Kms.
The theme of this event was “National Integration and tribute to our Freedom Fighters & War Heroes”. National Flags were carried by all the individuals to promote “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign during the event inculcating national pride and values.
