Guwahati: A mass wedding ceremony was conducted on Wednesday at Tiok tea estate market Hall in Assam’s Sonari and almost two hundred one couples performed the rituals of tying the knot according to traditional religious customs.
The mass wedding ceremony was organized by the Charaideo district marriage Reform Committee and supported by the Hans Foundation.
The 201 couples vowed to stay together for life and death witnessing the fire.
