30 students which includes 16 girls from classes 8th to 11th of Vadodara and Bharuch will get the
opportunity to learn the good governance of Gujarat as part of a tour on 3rd and 4th of November.
They will speak with state leaders learn about government entities, financial institutions, big businesses, and operation of local NGOs. Later they will submit their report based on their findings.
This tour is as a part of internship programme InternNation Leadership Tour’22 of Chhatra Sansad and Amicus International School Vadodara. For the first time as part of this tour the students will visit Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad on a Good Governance tour and each participant will submit a report detailing their learnings and how they intend to apply those findings to their local communities at the end. It will be delivered to the NITI AYOG and Prime Minister office.
The students will be visiting Gujarat Vidhan Sabha, Gift City, Gandhi Ashram and meeting IAS S K Nanda (Former Managing Director, GSFC),
Bishan Shah (President, Ahmedabad Branch of ICAI) & visit to ICAI, Pathik Patwari (President, Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry) & visit to GCCI, Devang Nanavati (Senior Advocate, Gujarat High Court), Kirit Parmar (Mayor, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation),
Nikhil Mehta (Chief Regulatory Officer, India International Exchange).

Vice President Aditya Vegda added, The students will be visiting the Vidhansabha and meet the bureaucrats, secretaries and get to the know the functioning and also the challenges before the elections. The tour will make students understand the democracy process and choosing a suitable leader through voting. Also they will learn to make the change starting from their homes and localities.
Along with this unique two-day programme, Chhatra Sansad organises three 10-day national tours every year for students at the IITs, IIMs, NLUs, and top universities in our nation.
